To fight against plastic pollution and launch Corona’s global platform in Brazil, I helped to create and orchestrate an integrated campaign starting from a place that was leading this discussion in the country: Fernando de Noronha, an island that had already promised to ban single use plastic.

With a strong POV reinforcing that single use plastic and nature are not a match, we created digital comms, content ideas based on cultural moments, amplification of beach activations and an influencer campaign featuring surfing champion Gabriel Medina as spokesperson for small businesses that removed their stock of single use plastic.

"Plastic doesn't belong to paradise"

“Plastic doesn't belong to paradise”

We lent Gabriel Media to small businesses in Fernando de Noronha island, on a simple condition: they’d have to end their stock of plastic on the same day.

The contents, activations and initatives helped to accelerate the ban of single use plastic in Fernando de Noronha, bringing the issue to the agenda in different regions of the country, generating buzz, conversations and making people more aware about the issue.
